Central Association of Private Security Industry (CAPSI) Chairman Kunwar Vikram Singh said in the letter to the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi ji, to exempt private security services from paying tax.

Singh conveys to the Prime Minister that private security services are a common basic need for every household with rising crimes. The gap in the public police ratio is being filled by the private security services. As it is a service for the public, it should not be taxed.
